1. Description of the Service

Vaktim is a mobile application that offers prayer times, qibla direction, dhikr and prayer tracking, a Quran progress experience, the Spiritual Guide feature, optional cloud synchronization, and premium services.

2. No Professional Advice

The content provided in the app is for general informational purposes only. It does not replace official religious guidance, medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

3. Account and Security

You are responsible for the security of your account and for all actions carried out through it.

4. Cloud Synchronization

Cloud synchronization is turned off by default. It is enabled only if you read the relevant disclosures and provide explicit consent.

When sync is enabled, certain user data may be stored in the cloud. Turning sync off stops new transfers, but previously stored cloud data is not deleted automatically. You may send deletion requests to destek@vaktim.app.

5. Spiritual Guide Feature

The Spiritual Guide is an AI-assisted feature. When you use it, the messages you write and the limited conversation context required to generate a response may be transmitted to the relevant service provider infrastructure.

Spiritual Guide message content is not included in the cloud sync dataset that is backed up across devices.

6. Premium Services

Premium services may be offered through the relevant app store infrastructure. Subscription, renewal, and cancellation processes are subject to the rules of the relevant platform.

7. Third-Party Services

The app may rely on third-party services such as Supabase, RevenueCat, Mapbox, OpenAI, and authentication providers. Interruptions or issues originating from these services will be managed by Vaktim to the extent reasonably possible, but uninterrupted service cannot be guaranteed.

8. Limitation of Liability

The app is provided on an "as is" basis. Vaktim cannot be held liable for indirect damages arising from data loss, third-party system failures, technical interruptions, or user error. This limitation does not override mandatory consumer law protections that may apply.

9. Intellectual Property

The software, design, and brand of the app are protected by intellectual property rights.

10. Right to Amend

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will be published through the app or website.
