Vaktim Application

1. Description of the Service

Vaktim is a mobile application that offers prayer times, qibla direction, dhikr and supplication tracking, a Qur'an progress experience, the Spiritual Guide (Manevi Rehber) feature, optional cloud synchronization, and premium services.

2. Not of an Advisory Nature

The application content is for general informational purposes. It does not substitute for an official fatwa or for medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

3. Account and Security

The user is responsible for the security of their account and for the operations carried out through their own account.

4. Cloud Synchronization

Cloud synchronization is off by default. Because your worship records such as prayer, Qur'an, supplication, dhikr, and salawat are considered special categories of personal data that may reveal your religious belief, this feature is enabled only if you read the relevant disclosures and provide your explicit consent. You may withdraw the explicit consent you have given at any time from the application settings.

When the Sync feature is enabled, certain user data may be stored in the cloud environment. Disabling the Sync feature stops new data transfers; data previously in the cloud is not automatically deleted. You may submit your deletion requests via destek@vaktim.app.

5. Spiritual Guide Feature

The Spiritual Guide (Manevi Rehber) is an AI-supported feature. When you use this feature, the messages you write and the limited conversation context necessary to generate a response are transmitted to the OpenAI infrastructure via Supabase edge functions.

Spiritual Guide message contents are not included in the data set backed up across devices within the scope of cloud synchronization. This feature is subject to its own separate explicit consent, independent of the synchronization consent; you may withdraw this consent at any time.

6. Premium Services

Premium services may be provided through the relevant application store infrastructures. Subscription, renewal, and cancellation processes are subject to the rules of the relevant platform.

7. Third-Party Services

The application relies on Supabase, Amazon Web Services, and Cloudflare for hosting and infrastructure; Google/Firebase for notifications, maps, and sign-in (notification token, Google Maps/Places, Sign in with Google, and analytics/remote configuration that is off by default and operates with explicit consent); Apple (Sign in with Apple and App Store payments); Sentry for crash and error reporting (off by default, operates with explicit consent); RevenueCat for subscription management; and OpenAI for Spiritual Guide responses. The details of these services, which data is processed, and the transfer-abroad regime are explained in the Privacy Policy and the Disclosure Notice. Any interruptions in these services or issues originating from third parties are addressed by Vaktim to a reasonable extent; however, no absolute guarantee of uninterrupted service is given.

8. Limitation of Liability

The application is provided as is. Vaktim cannot be held liable, to the extent permitted by applicable law, for indirect damages arising from data loss, third-party system failure, technical interruption, or user error. This limitation does not remove Vaktim's liability arising from its intent or gross negligence, the applicable mandatory consumer law rules, or mandatory rules of law.

9. Intellectual Property

The software, design, and brand of the application are under intellectual property protection.

10. Right to Amend

These terms may be updated. The current version is published via the application or the website.
