Notification / Adhan Not Coming
Adhan notification problems are usually caused by system permission, focus mode or battery saver settings. Follow the steps below in order.
Solution in 30 Seconds
- In-app prayer notifications must be turned on.
- Device notification permission and volume should be checked.
- Battery saver/background restrictions should be removed.
Step by step
iOS
- Settings > Notifications > Vaktim: turn on all notifications.
- Add Vaktim to allowed apps in focus mode.
- Enable background app refresh.
Android
- Settings > Applications > Vaktim > Notifications: enable.
- Select Vaktim without restrictions in battery optimization.
- Control azan/time sound in notification channels.
Why Does It Happen?
- Notification permission may not have been granted during the initial installation.
- The device may be on silent or the media volume may be low.
- Background restrictions may stop the application.
